and you dont know much if anything about drag racing. a second is HUGE when you are talking about 9 seconds. 9 seconds to 8 seconds is huge. That white supra (Marko) was making about 1200rwhp on that pass of 8.45. That is 1.5 seconds faster than Greg, and is right on the money for the power and weight.
There are guys running the toyota auto transmission (modified like greg modifies the Z's trans) and are running 8's. The difference between 8.9 and 9.9 is HUGE. A nine second supra is becoming the norm, here we just got the first stateside car to do it.

The fastest supra is running 8.6 on a stock 6-speed trans. and there are a good many running low 9's and one other (Paul Efantis) running 8.9's in his street legal 6speed car.
What's the point, the supra is faster, has more parts available, and there are more people pushing them faster in the sport of drag racing. The supra owns the Z in drag racing, plain and simple. The driveline is stronger, the motor is stronger, and there are countless companies making custom turbo setups to make the cars run. Not to mention they are just a bit easier to work on.
Supra's are awesome, plain and simple, so when you come on here and act like that it makes you look stupid.
